POOL RULESREAD BEFORE DIVINGUPDATED SEP 2026

No loopholes, no shared passwords

Good pools
need rules.

Poolo makes the money part easier. It does not rewrite a subscription provider’s eligibility rules.

01

Public means eligible.

The public marketplace only includes services with official extra-member seats or group plans that don’t require one household.

02

Residence means residence.

Spotify and YouTube Premium require members to genuinely live together. Poolo keeps these plans private and does not treat matching billing details as proof.

03

Use individual invites.

Poolmates should join through the provider’s member invitation and use their own account. Poolo never needs a streaming password.

04

Know what you’re joining.

Every request should show the monthly share, provider rule, renewal date, cancellation timing, and what happens if the host ends the plan.

YouTube Premium check

Same billing address
is not the same household.

YouTube requires family members to live at the same residential address as the family manager and says it performs an electronic check every 30 days. A Google Pay country mismatch can cause a setup error, but matching billing information alone does not make unrelated people eligible.

Provider rules, not vibes.

We checked the current official sharing guidance. Poolo should recheck these rules regularly because providers can change them.
